About Our Dried Amla Candy
Amla candy has been a household staple across Indian kitchens for generations — usually the thing grandmothers kept in a steel dabba for whenever someone had a sore throat or just needed a pick-me-up. Ours is made the traditional way: fresh amla, dried and lightly sweetened rather than deep-candied, so the natural tartness still comes through.
The texture sits somewhere between chewy and slightly firm, with that unmistakable tangy-sweet amla flavour in every piece. It's an easy one to hand to kids who won't touch a raw amla, and just as popular with adults who grew up on it — pop a piece after a meal, keep some in your bag for travel, or use it as a not-too-sweet alternative to regular candy.
